Many years making horses happy

Who we are, why we're doing this

David and Carol Grosvenor have owned this property since 1993. We raised two daughters and many horses and ponies here. The daughters and their trusty steeds have all grown up and flown the coop, leaving Carol's two appaloosas as the only current residents in the 6-stall barn— hence the extra space now for boarded horses. We did travel boarding many years ago and enjoyed it. We've decided to do it again, but with improvements to the property to make it easier for travelers.

David is a former rider and retired graphic designer from UT Austin. He is also the producer of a WWII movie about his father’s time with the Belgian Resistance called Last Best Hope, a True Story of Escape, Evasion and Remembrance. Carol is a web developer at UT Austin. As a horse owner, traveler and endurance rider, she has been to a number of horse motels. The camping articles on this site were written for Texas endurance riders, but pertain to others, as well. Please check them out! Dr. Rachel Wilson, our other daughter, is a veterinarian at Dripping Springs Animal Hospital. She has worked with horses and small animals.
